ELLEN CRANE, AGE 69, COLONIA

Ellen N. (Corey) Crane, 69, of the
Colonia section of Woodbridge died
peacefully yesterday, March 7, 2004, at
home.
Born in New York, Mrs. Crane
resided in Rahway for most of her life
before moving to Colonia five years ago.
She was a graduate of Rahway High School
Class of 1953. Prior to her retirement
in 1994, Mrs. Crane was a respiratory
technician for 25 years at Rahway
Hospital. She was a communicant of St.
Mary's R.C. Church in Rahway and a
volunteer with the church CYO program.
Mrs. Crane was predeceased by her
father, James E. Corey Sr., and mother,
Marie McCamley Corey, and by her devoted
husband, Harold M. Crane, and a brother,
John Travis Corey.
She is survived by her son,
Stephen Crane and his wife, Patricia, of
Florham Park; three daughters, Sharon
Wells and her husband, Gene, of Colonia,
Shavaun Crane, also of Colonia, and
Sheila Crane of Rahway; a brother, James
E. Corey Jr. of Rahway, and seven
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at
9:15 a.m. Wednesday at The Corey &
Corey Funeral Home, 259 Elm Ave.,
Rahway, thence to St. Mary's R.C. Church
in Rahway for a 10 a.m. funeral liturgy.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in
Clark. Visitation will be from 2 p.m.-4
p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday at the
funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made
to the Robert Wood Johnson University
Hospital at Rahway Hospice, 865 Stone
St., Rahway, NJ 07065 or to your
favorite charity.
