Maureen (Walker) H. Mach passed away May 17, 2004. She had been fighting heart problems for six month or so. Maureen moved to Florida in 1979. Her daughter, Sheri, told me that her Mom spent a lot of time with her children and grandchildren.

Maureen grew up around the corner on Grand Avenue. Tommy and Pete Palamar and I played with her brother, Bobby, an awful lot during our preteen years. Nevertheless, I must say I never got to know Maureen. She was a quiet, private person then just as she was in our High School years.

Mrs. Maureen H. Mach of Ft. Lauderdale, FL (formerly of Rahway) died May 17 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. She was 69.

She was a lifelong resident of Rahway.

Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Joseph Mach, Sr; a son, Joseph Mach, Jr.: two daughters, Sheri Siegenthaler and Heidi Mach; a sister, Elizabeth Wescott and a brother, Robert Walker, both of Rahway; four grandchildren, Zachary and Sean Siegenthaler, Joseph III and Nicholas Mach.
